Birthday cabin!

We hit the road for my birthday and went to Yosemite, deciding to spend a few nights in a cabin in Half Dome Village.

After an epic sunset at Glacier Point on arrival, we hiked Cloud's Rest the next day.

As you drive toward Yosemite, you go around a bend in the road and suddenly see this. Not a bad greeting.

Julie 'lost' her sunglasses 1.5 miles into the hike...so we backtracked the whole way only to find the lost sunglasses neatly tucked away in the car! 🤣

We had planned plenty of water in our camelbacks and yet we still ran out. Made it back to the car after over 17 miles of hiking, completely wrecked, but with big smiles on our faces.
